How the two fit together
Our mission is about today: the care, protection and support a child receives while they are with us. Our vision is about the longer term: a Khayelitsha where fewer children need a place of safety at all, because families and communities have what they need to keep children safe.
Everything we do — from daily care to working with families and partners — is meant to serve both.
